Our Mission
Samantha's Learn to Swim (SLS) started in my small community to share my experience and expertise in swim-instructing. I also made it part of my mission to include people who have autism. My psychology degree and expertise in this field: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), contributes to my execution of teaching swimming lessons to to people who have ASD.
Our expansion began through word-of-mouth and now encompass an ever-growing pool of developing swimmers. The quality of instruction and the personal connection that SLS provides to its swim-students and parents are above standard. The human touch of a small business, including; small class sizes, experienced instructors (6+ years), and a beautiful outdoor space, is what truly separates that of the franchise swim schools.

We look forward to seeing all of you this summer.

Teaching Method
Samantha's Learn to Swim is a space of exceptional opportunity, one which pushes the boundaries of traditional swim lessons.

The water can be a intentional system, that can work for us, rather than against us. Much like the aquatic creatures of the sea, such as mermaids, there is a way to move through the water so that it support us. We explore these strategies with our swimmers.. sharing the secrets of the sea!
We execute a teaching method using the 4 S's- Streamlining, Sculling, Strength and Skills. This teaching technique supports the natural talents and instincts of the human body, allowing the swimmer to explore how the water should feel.
This is a different learning atmosphere than of the "me say, you do" teachings. Within the structure of our teaching style, our instructors incorporate; direction, drills and techniques, to foster self discovery with in the swimmers' own talents, and prepares the swimmer for long term success. And we never compromise on safety.
Our swimming lessons provide a space where students are collaborators in their own learning, and all subjects in the water work together toward a common goal.
